What is VidiVet?
VidiVet is a smartphone/tablet app that gives our Wellness Club members free of charge access to an experienced vet, no matter what time of day or night. Don’t wait until you’re worried about your pet – register now so the help is ready exactly when you need it. You can send photos, videos or text your concerns and a vet will reply within minutes to help advise and the best next steps.

How do I use VidiVet?
The first step is to sign up using the link above, all Whiskers Wellness Club members will receive complimentary access to VidiVet. Once you have complete the form you will be shown a link to download the app. That’s it! You now have access to a helpful vet team whenever we are closed.
Are VidiVet vets qualified?
Yes. All vets are Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) registered and a minimum of 5 years qualified to ensure we are operating at the highest level.

Do I need a smartphone to use VidiVet?
The VidiVet app is available on smartphones, tablets and some of the latest Apple computers only. Your device will need to have a webcam and a microphone. You’ll also need to ensure that you have a good internet or data connection. The VidiVet app may not work on older devices nor some of the latest Huawei devices.
Can VidiVet vets prescribe medication?
No. Prescribing medications is an act of veterinary medicine, so to prescribe medications, a vet needs to have seen your pet in person. This is to comply with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) Code of Professional Conduct for Veterinary Surgeons.
Can I use VidiVet during the day?
VidiVet are available 24/7, 365 days a year, but the team at Whiskers are always on hand to help with any questions during our opening hours.
