We suggest cats wait as long as possible in the car. When they come into the practice we provide pheromone calming sprays, elevated carrier spaces and blankets so your cat feels hidden and safe. Reducing stress from the very beginning leads to smoother exams and more accurate diagnostics.
Our team members understand feline body language, stress cues and fear signals. We use a low-stress, respectful approach to handling, giving your cat choice and space wherever possible.
Cats need time to adjust, so our consultations are longer than standard, for the same price. This gives them (and you) time to breathe. A slower approach means clearer conversations, better assessments and kinder treatment experiences.
Where possible, cats are examined, hospitalised and treated in cat-specific spaces. Cat TV, warm and quiet surroundings, gentle lighting, hidey holes and calming sprays all help, alongside cat-friendly handling techniques. Cats feel safer, which supports faster healing and less emotional trauma.
